Bishop Daniel E. Thomas also makes the following announcements:

Accepted the resignation of Reverend John-Raphael Hadnagy, OFM Conv. as Pastor of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, Upper Sandusky, for health reasons, effective 15 March 2017.

Reverend Richard  J. Saelzler is granted Senior Priest Status, while remaining Chaplain to the Ursuline Sisters, effective March 1, 2017.

Deacon James F. Schortgen is granted Senior Deacon Status, effective March 1, 2017.

In accord with canon 502 §1 of the Code of Canon Law, Bishop Daniel E. Thomas has established a new College of Consultors for the Diocese of Toledo, effective 2 February 2017.  The previous college’s term officially ended the same date.

The following nine (9) priests, all of whom are current members of the Presbyteral Council, have been appointed to the new College of Consultors, whose five year term ends 2 February 2022:
