Bishop Daniel E. Thomas Announces Clergy Appointments and Transfers Within the Diocese of Toledo
Below is a summary of clergy appointments:
Reverend Bertholy Cherubin, SPSJ, a priest of the Society of Priests of Saint James in Saint-Jacques (France), who is new to the Diocese of Toledo, is appointed Parochial Vicar of Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, Lima and will minister to the Haitian Catholic community in the Lima area, effective 3 March 2025. We warmly welcome Fr. Cherubin to our diocese.
Reverend Michael J. Diemer is appointed as full-time Hispanic Ministry Coordinator for the Department of Discipleship and Family Life, effective 1 July 2025. He will continue to reside at Saint Richard Parish, Swanton.
Reverend Jason D. D’Souza, SAC, from Parochial Vicar, Saint John the Evangelist Parish and Saint Mary Parish, Defiance to Parochial Vicar, Saint Joseph Parish, Sylvania, effective 1 July 2025.
Reverend Michael A. Geiger, currently serving as Parochial Administrator of Corpus Christi University Parish, Toledo, will continue in that role for one more year, effective 1 July 2025.
Reverend Peter D. Grodi, while remaining Pastor of Saint Thomas More University Parish, Bowling Green, is appointed as part-time Associate Director of the Office for Diocesan Priestly Vocations, effective 1 July 2025.
Deacon Joel F. Junga, from Saint Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish, Toledo, to Little Flower Parish, Toledo, effective 1 July 2025.
Reverend Travis J. Kahle is appointed Parochial Vicar of Saint Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish, Norwalk, Saint Anthony Parish, Milan, and Saint Paul the Apostle Parish, Norwalk, effective 1 July 2025.

Reverend Tuscano has petitioned the Diocese of Columbus to incardinate him and will conclude his service as pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Assumption, effective June 30, 2025.
