In accord with canon 502 §1 of the Code of Canon Law, Bishop Daniel E. Thomas has established a new College of Consultors for the Diocese of Toledo, effective 2 February 2017. The previous college’s term officially ended the same date.
The following nine (9) priests, all of whom are current members of the Presbyteral Council, have been appointed to the new College of Consultors, whose five year term ends 2 February 2022:

- Very Reverend Gregory R. Hite, VF
- Reverend Monsignor William J. Kubacki, VG

- Reverend Monsignor Christopher P. Vasko, JV, VF
- Very Reverend Dennis G. Walsh, VF
- Very Reverend Michael J. Zacharias, VF
