The faithful of the Diocese of Toledo are invited to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, commonly referred to as the Feast of Corpus Christi, at the 5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday, May 28, at Saint Aloysius Church (150 S. Enterprise Street, Bowling Green). Bishop Daniel E. Thomas will be the principal celebrant and homilist for the Mass, which will be followed by a procession with the Blessed Sacrament around the block of the parish.
During Mass, Bishop Thomas will also dedicate the church's new altar and transfer the Blessed Sacrament to the new tabernacle. The parish recently completed an extensive capital improvement project, including restoration and updates to the church that dates back to 1923.
Following the Mass and procession, all are invited for a reception in the parish's Hartman Hall with appetizers and desserts.
