Diocese of Toledo Launches Planned Giving Program

Diocese of Toledo Launches Planned Giving Program

The Diocese of Toledo’s Mission Advancement Office is pleased to announce the launch of a new Planned Giving Program, an initiative designed to help faithful Catholics make lasting gifts that support the Church’s mission today and into the future.

This program provides parishioners with tools and resources to create a charitable legacy through wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities, and other planned giving options. By including the Church in their estate plans, individuals can ensure their values live on and strengthen the long-term vitality of our parishes, schools, and ministries.

To accompany the launch, the Diocese has introduced a dedicated website—www.DOTLegacy.org—featuring easy-to-navigate information on giving options, answers to common questions, and planning tools to support informed decision-making.

“We’re excited to provide this resource to those who are looking to leave a legacy rooted in faith,” said Dan Dougherty, Director of Planned Giving. “Planned gifts can have a profound and lasting impact on the future of our Catholic community.”

In the coming weeks, parishes will receive promotional materials, including bulletin inserts and pulpit announcements, to help raise awareness of this new initiative.
