The Diocese of Toledo and the Redemptorists, Ministry in the Province of Mexico have entered into a ten-month Hispanic Pastoral Partnership agreement. On Thursday, September 4, Father Joaquín Frausto Nájera, CSSR, Superior Provincial, Province of Mexico, joined Bishop Daniel Thomas to sign the agreement. Also, present were, Father Roberto Morales Guerra, CSSR and Father Patrick Keyes, CSSR, two of the three priests who will be serving our diocese, along with Father Michael Diemer, Hispanic Coordinator for the Diocese of Toledo.
This partnership is to help Prepare, Inspire, Encourage, Consolidate, and Project the pastoral accompaniment of the Hispanic community in the Diocese of Toledo by training leaders who, conscious of their faith, are evangelized and evangelize. Strengthened through liturgy, they will become consistent promoters of justice and human development within their community.
