The Diocese of Toledo is honored to welcome Msgr. Anthony Figueiredo from Assisi, Italy, bringing the Relic of the Heart of Saint Carlo Acutis, a modern saint known for his deep faith and love for the poor. This is a rare opportunity for the faithful to venerate the relic, learn about Carlo’s life, and deepen their faith through prayer and reflection.
Msgr. Figueiredo, promoter of Carlo’s cause and author of Carlo Acutis: Saint of the Young – His Life, Miracles, and Five Steps to Being a Saint, will offer reflections on Carlo’s holiness and spiritual legacy, drawing from his close involvement with the saint’s cause. Inspired by Carlo’s compassion, attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to Helping Hands of St. Louis. Visitors may also submit prayer intentions, which Msgr. Figueiredo will take to Carlo’s tomb in Assisi.
