The Diocese of Toledo joyfully announces that Bishop Daniel E. Thomas has accepted Nathan Weisenburger as a seminarian for the Diocese.
A native of Maumee and a member of St. Joseph Parish, Nate is a 2019 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School in Toledo. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo, graduating in 2024. Since then, he has been working as a mechanical designer at Toledo Engineering Company.
Nate’s journey of faith and discernment has now led him to begin formation for the diocesan priesthood. Please join us in welcoming Nate and praying for him—as well as for all our seminarians—on this exciting next step toward serving Christ and His Church.
