The Diocese of Toledo's Office of Multicultural Ministries, in conjunction with Lourdes University, will host a multicultural event entitled "Let Your Light Shine" in honor of Mother Teresa on the occasion of her canonization.
This event, focused on the cultural values and traditions from India and how they were impacted by the transformative work of Mother Teresa, will take place from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, September 4 at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University (6832 Convent Boulevard, Sylvania).
"This event is intended to provide a family experience of love, beyond faith or religious denomination, in the same spirit of the work and care of Mother Teresa," Director of Multicultural Ministries Carlos Castaneda said.
