Sister Maria Cecilia Arroyo Makes Perpetual Profession at Visitation Monastery

“God be praised” for the joyful witness of Sister Maria Cecilia Arroyo, who made her Perpetual Profession at the Visitation Monastery in Toledo on Tuesday, July 22. Surrounded by her fellow Sisters, the Friends of the Monastery, several consecrated religious, and clergy from across the diocese, Sister Maria Cecilia publicly professed her lifelong commitment to a life “hidden with Christ” in the cloister.

Her joy-filled recommitment to the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience was a beautiful reminder of the quiet power of a vocation lived fully for God. Heartfelt gratitude goes to the Oblate Fathers who concelebrated, all those who served or attended, and especially to the Visitation Sisters, who graciously welcomed visitors after the ceremony.

Please join us in offering warm and prayerful congratulations to Sister Maria Cecilia!
