What an incredible day at St. Paul in Norwalk! Over 53 young people gathered for "Youth Called to Conversion," a Lenten retreat led by the Redemptorist Fathers. Youth from St. Francis Willard, St. Paul Norwalk, and surrounding parishes came together, many under 18, breaking language barriers by translating for one another at their tables.
The day was filled with powerful talks on personal conversion, family, and faith; lively music and icebreakers led by the Hispanic Ministry Team; and beautiful songs from the St. Joseph Fremont Hispanic Choir. Youth openly committed to changes in their lives, including spending less time on social media!
The retreat concluded with a packed Saturday evening Mass, concelebrated by five priests, where Fr. Manuel Meza, a native of Mexico, had a wonderful chance to preside entirely in English.
Please keep these young people in your prayers as they carry the graces of this day into their lives and into this holy season of Lent. May it bear much fruit!
