Throughout November, Black Catholic History Month celebrates the history, heritage and contributions of Black Catholics. It is an opportunity to learn about Black Catholic saints and holy men and women whose lives bear witness to faith, perseverance and love for the Church.
Explore their stories and participate in the Diocese of Toledo’s celebrations throughout the month.
Parish information: Please promote the diocesan Black Catholic History Month events and consider sharing a saint’s story or another educational resource in your bulletin, faith formation programs or parish social media.
