Organ Dedication Concert to Celebrate New 4-Manual Instrument at Christ the King Church
Christ the King Catholic Church will host a free Organ Dedication Concert on Sunday, February 15 at 4:00 PM, celebrating the completion of its newly installed 4-manual Rodgers/Ruffatti organ. The concert is open to the public and designed for audiences of all ages.
The concert will be performed by Dan Miller, an internationally renowned concert organist, composer, and educator. The program will showcase the full range and versatility of the instrument—from powerful, room-filling sounds to intimate, reflective colors—highlighting both the artistic and spiritual role of the organ in worship and sacred music. Installed by T.S. Good Church Organ Co., the new instrument represents a significant musical and liturgical investment for the parish and will serve the Christ the King community for generations through worship, education, and public concerts.
“This instrument is meant not only to support congregational singing, but to invite people into prayer and wonder,” said Jack Gerding, Director of Liturgy & Music. “This concert is a celebration of beauty, gratitude, and shared community.”
