Diocesan Feast Day Novena
Each year, Catholics across the Diocese of Toledo are invited to pray together for nine days leading up to the Diocesan Feast Day, the October 7 feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, patroness of the Diocese of Toledo.
These nine days of prayer, from September 28–October 6, give us a special way to be united spiritually as one diocesan Church wherever we are. Please encourage your parishioners to join Catholics throughout the Diocese in this shared prayer as we prepare to celebrate our diocesan patronal feast. Sign up here to receive the novena prayer each day.
Those who are able are also invited to join the diocesan celebration of Our Lady of the Rosary, patroness of the Diocese of Toledo.

This year’s novena will be a St. Francis Novena in observance of the Year of St. Francis. Wherever you are, these nine days of prayer are a beautiful way to unite spiritually with Catholics across the Diocese. Sign up at toledoprays.org to receive the novena prayer each day.
If you are able, please also join us for the Diocesan Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo. The Rosary begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 7:00 p.m.

Bishop Daniel E. Thomas invites you to celebrate our Diocesan Feast Day on Wednesday, October 7, at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. This is an annual tradition of celebrating the patroness of the Diocese of Toledo, Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, with a recitation of the rosary followed by Mass. The rosary begins at 6:30pm followed by Mass at 7:00pm.
