Holy Hour for Vocations
For many years, our communities throughout the United States have been experiencing the devasting decline in the number of priests and religious serving our parishes and ministries. Because of this, Diocese are struggling to find enough Holy men and women to carry on the important mission of the Church. As we search for ways to address this challenge, we are reminded that prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have to seek God's help. Gathering in prayer before the Eucharist is a meaningful and effective way to bring our intentions directly to Jesus, trusting in His guidance and providence to inspire an increase in Holy Vocations.
Holy Hour for Vocations Event Details
You are invited to join us on Monday, May 4th, at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 104 W. Broadway Street, Maumee, Ohio. This special Holy Hour is dedicated to praying for vocations and is an opportunity for our community to come together in faith and unity.
The evening will be led by Fr. Joseph Mominee, who will guide us in reflection and devotion. Sacred music will be offered by a Men’s Schola Group, enhancing the reverence and beauty of the occasion. We encourage all to participate in this prayerful gathering as we unite in asking the Master of the harvest to send out laborers for His harvest.
