Assistant Director of CYO Athletics - Operations - Diocese of Toledo Pastoral Center

The Diocese of Toledo is searching for a full-time Assistant Director of CYO Athletics, specializing in Operations, to play a pivotal role in providing support to ensure the smooth operation of the CYO Athletics program. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including efficient management and maintenance of the Msgr Schmidt CYO Athletic Complex, coordination of CYO events, recruitment/training/assignment of officials, and coordination of leagues for assigned sports.

This position works together with the Director of CYO Athletics and the Assistant Director of CYO Athletics Administration to support CYO by ensuring operational excellence and helping young people and ministers to youth embody Christ-like values within the CYO community.

Top Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Athletic and/or facilities administration experience preferred
  • Must have a high level of skill in the area of time management and project management; scheduling events and a high attention to detail in planning.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution, and collaborative ministry. Capacity for quickly learning new technologies.
  • Passion for faith-based youth sports and the ability to respect, promote, accommodate, and not be in conflict with the mission, moral and social teachings, doctrines and laws of the Roman Catholic faith.

Senior Human Resources Generalist - Diocese of Toledo Pastoral Center

The Diocese of Toledo is searching for a full-time Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide high quality, front-line human resource support and guidance to the employees of the Diocese of Toledo and related entities, including Catholic Charities. Areas of focus include delivering expertise and best practices in hiring, compensation, benefits, policy implementation, change management, conflict resolution, discipline, and compliance with all employment laws and diocesan and agency policies.

Candidates for the position must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a field closely related to the major duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • At least five (5) years of professional human resources experience in an HR Generalist or similar role. Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
