Our Lady of Hope Parish has a part-time opening for a Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE). Flexible work hours, as it includes some evening and weekend hours and limited overnight travel. The CRE ministers, implements, and oversees religious education for Preschool through Grade 12 students. Supervises & recruits catechists, schedules meetings & classes with children and their parents, and exhibits goals of leading our young people and their families closer to Christ. They must be able to appropriately relate to parishioners and guests of the parish, while showing respect and compassion in delivery of his or her services.

Summary:
- Prepares all payroll functions such as direct deposit, tax payments, tax paperwork, garnishments, salary reductions, in an accurate and thorough manner.
- Maintains all journal entries according to the cash accounting methods, following all federal, state and local laws along with compliance with the USCCB, Temporal Good Policies and Diocese of Toledo.
- Provides accurate and detailed reports when requested.

Director of Music Ministries & Liturgy - Saint John the Evangelist, Defiance
St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio, is seeking a full time Director of Music Ministries and Liturgy. St. John the Evangelist is a Faith-filled, singing Parish, consisting of 765 families, and 1989 parishioners.
The Parish has a well-established Choir, along with a Youth Choir, and seasonal Children’s Christmas Choir. We also have an excellent Rodgers Model 835 2 manual organ, an excellent Steinway Grand Piano, and an excellent sound system, in a beautiful 1895 built Church, with hard surface flooring, and air conditioning.
This position will include overseeing the entire Music program, as well as scheduling of Liturgical Ministers through MSP software. The position will also include additional income through the playing of all weddings and funerals.
The ideal applicant will possess organ & piano proficiency, the ability to sing, choral directing skills, as well as a desire to continue the Congregation’s desire to sing. The applicant will also need to have management and organizational skills, with the ability for long term planning.
The Parish would also like a person who can teach, lead, and inspire, with a strong understanding of the Catholic Liturgy.
