Holy Thursday Pilgrimage – Night Watch at the Altar of Repose
The faithful are invited to take part in the Holy Thursday Night Watch, a beautiful tradition of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament following the Mass of the Lord’s Supper. This time of silent adoration recalls Christ’s agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and His call to “watch and pray.” Many parishes across the Metro-Toledo area will remain open for prayer at their altars of repose, with varying hours throughout the evening. Parishes are encouraged to share this opportunity in bulletins and invite parishioners to participate in visiting one or multiple churches as part of this longstanding Holy Thursday devotion.
